The Wood Restaurant opened its doors in December 2018 at Brokenwood Wines’ state of the art new cellar door facility. With a seafood slant, the contemporary menu uses quality ingredients cooked simply with flair.
We work with great suppliers who bring the best quality produce. Our fresh seafood is delivered direct from the Sydney Markets by Shane’s Seafood, superb Sydney Rock Oysters from Appellation Oysters on Australia’s south eastern coastline. We use farm fresh fruit and vegetables from Newcastle Greens, Kapsali Farm bring us fresh organic eggs from the happiest chooks around, Binnorie Dairy supply our wonderful cheese, Little Hill Farm supply our pasture fed chicken and lamb, and Milly Hill also bring us great lamb.

CRU Bar + Pantry
Open daily for brunch, lunch and snacks, Cru Bar + Pantry is located in the lounge area. Choose from wood-fired oven baked pizzas, homemade pies, cheese and charcuterie platters, served with an evolving selection of wines by the glass.
The Wood Restaurant is the perfect place for any kind of event including birthdays, engagements, Christmas parties, corporate events, baby showers and celebrations. It is suited to both lunch and dinner events. Our event co-ordinator will work with you to ensure your event is perfect.
We offer a a fantastic group menu during lunch 7 days, dinner Friday and Saturday.
We also cater for special events and exclusive bookings, dinner Sunday to Thursday for groups of 10 or more.
